Come start your basketball journey by Having a Ball. Dylan combines his 17 years of coaching experience with 7 years in the classroom as a primary school teacher to deliver engaging, effective and inclusive beginner basketball sessions. Through refining his skills, drills and draft over thousands of hours on court working with thousands of kids, you can be confident Dylan and his team of coaches know how to bring the best out in your child.

By the end of the program your child will know:

  • All court markings and key rules.
  • How to pivot, protect and pass the ball effectively.
  • Dribble moves to beat defenders.
  • Shooting technique and the fundamentals of a layup.
  • Offensive and defensive awareness - Knowing where they need to be on the court when defending and how to get into space for opportunities to score.

How we deliver a great experience to your child:

  • CURATED CURRICULUM: We follow a carefully designed curriculum which follows a gradual progression of drills which layer upon each other. Theses skills can be differentiated to be made easier or harder so your child is learning at a level suited to their skillset.
  • 1:6 COACH / PLAYER RATIO There will a 1:6 coach to player ratio to ensure plenty of support, feedback and effective small groups.
  • SMALL GAMES FOCUS large focus on small sided games and competitive drills to build players confidence in game situations. It's crucial players learn how to perform skills under pressure to prepare them for joining a team in the future.
  • PRIVATE COMMUNITY A private community where there will be weekly videos, skills challenges and great prizes to help accelerate learning and help support practise at home. .
  • PROGRESS TRACKERS Digital and physical skill tracking sheets to support motivation and track progress. It doesn't matter where you start, it's where you end up and by tracking we help make this progress visible to players which is highly motivating.
